Gord’s family moved to Victoria when he was a young teenager. He learned to love this amazing place throughout his formative years, with residences in Central Saanich, Fairfield, Fernwood, Vic West, and James Bay! An avid hiker & runner, he’s a seasoned nature-lover who has a deep appreciation for all the natural beauties offered on Vancouver Island. You'll see him regularly at Thetis, Witty's, Mt.Doug, East Sooke, and Dallas Road.

At 22, seeking adventure, Gord took off for nearly two decades of globetrotting, which included working on almost 60 cruise ships, and driving thousands of kilometers of road trips throughout the continental USA, Mexico, & Canada. Becoming licensed as an auctioneer and then jewelry appraiser, Gord worked as a presentation specialist for the luxury duty-free sector, holding roles of Art Director, Principal Auctioneer, Luxury Brand Specialist, Port Shopping Consultant, and Port Lecturer.

After two decades away, with homes in Florida & Alabama, and check marks next to 90+ countries & countless hundreds of cities, Gord concluded that Victoria was simply the best, and made arrangements to return and build a permanent life here! The next six years were spent in Property Management, growing a fabulous relationship with the largest privately owned property management company in BC, first on a building management level, and then ascending to the role of Residential Leasing Manager.

Assisting with all those new leases taught Gord how much he loved helping folks find their home, and it seemed an organic & natural move to switch over to real estate.
