Shelley has been licensed with the Victoria Real Estate board since 1989 and just celebrated her 35th year in the amazing industry. She has worked independently as well as on 2 very successful teams.
She was born and raised in Victoria and her knowledge of local real estate is extensive. Being from a family of long time developers, Tidman Construction, has assisted Shelley in the day to day questions that may arise in any aspect of building or buys and selling real estate. This knowledge has also helped her in being a consistent MLS winner with the Victoria Real Estate Board. Shelley is a true advocate in continuing education which allows her to provide her clients with the most recent and updated information. She continues to volunteer at a board level and was a director from 2008-2012. In 2013 she took over as the Chair of the Victoria Real Estate Board. She is still involved in Goverment Relations, Hearing & Appeal panel as well she sits on BCREA Nominating committee. Definitely one of the most rewarding Foundations she has had the opportunity work with was the Saanich Peninsula Hospital & Healthcare Foundation. She sat as a director from 2014 -2019 and then took over as the chair from 2020-2023. This was near and dear to her heart as she was born and raised using that hospital and it is so important to our community.
Since 2015, when Shelley co-founded 100 Women Who Care Saanich Peninsula and with a team of amazing ladies, we have been able to raise almost $700,000 for the most deserving charities within our communities. This organization is still going strong today and we can’t wait to hit the million dollar mark.
When Shelley is not doing Real Estate she enjoy’s travelling with her husband Randy and spending time with her family at their recreational property at Great Central lake. To Shelley, family is her #1 priority and Real Estate has allowed her to be there for all of them.
